Classic Two Tier Tower with Fisherman
Of all of the Chinese life aspirations, having Peace and Tranquility is most sought after. It is something that can not be directly pursued like wealth nor specifically defined. Peace and Tranquility has an individual definition residing with each person and a definition that changes with life and circumstance. Difficult to obtain and even more difficult to maintain. Even so, Peace and Tranquility is worth wishing for anyone close to you.
To This popular arrangement, we have added a new (to us anyway) feature , a mud man sculpture of an old fisherman. Mudman sculptures (that is what they are call. Honest.)are old art form. though generally of people, they can be of buildings, bridges or other objects. Usually small in size mainly because they are made of a poor grade of ceramic material which is considered to be mud. Our fisherman is 2 1/4" tall.
The floral container measures 8” x 6” and is 2.5” deep. The normal height of this arrangement is 12 to 14" but like all Lucky Bamboo, they can grow taller.
